Legal notice and privacy policy

Who we are, the terms on which this site is used, and exactly what we do with the data you provide through the forms.

This is a courtesy translation. Trivium Capital is a Spanish company and the Spanish version of this document is the binding one. In the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish text prevails: read it here.

1. Owner's identifying details

In compliance with article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), the following details are stated:

Registered name

Note for Trivium: the yellow boxes are registry details that only the firm holds and that must not be invented. Until they are filled in, this legal notice is incomplete for the purposes of the LSSI-CE. Search for "TO BE COMPLETED" in the file aviso-legal.html. This document is a carefully drafted starting point, not legal advice: it should be reviewed by your adviser before being treated as final.

2. Terms of use of the site

Access to this website is free of charge and requires no prior registration. Browsing the site makes you a user and implies acceptance of these terms.

The user undertakes to use the site diligently and not to use it for activities contrary to law, good faith or public order. In particular, the user undertakes not to enter false data, nor the personal data of third parties, into the forms without being entitled to do so.

Trivium Capital reserves the right to modify the presentation, configuration and contents of the site at any time, and to suspend its availability temporarily for technical reasons.

3. Intellectual and industrial property

The contents of this site — text, trade marks, logos, graphic design, source code and the methodology of the valuation calculator — belong to Trivium Capital or to third parties who have authorised their use, and are protected by intellectual and industrial property law.

Their reproduction, distribution, public communication or transformation without the owner's express written authorisation is prohibited. Downloading or using the contents for personal purposes confers no rights over them.

4. Liability and links

Trivium Capital is not liable for damage arising from use of the site or from any inability to access it, nor for errors or omissions in its contents, without prejudice to applicable law.

The information published is of a general and informational nature and does not constitute financial, tax or legal advice, nor an investment recommendation. No business decision should be taken solely on the basis of the contents of this site.

Where the site includes links to third-party pages, Trivium Capital accepts no responsibility for their contents or their privacy policies.

5. The valuation calculator

This site offers a tool that returns an indicative range of enterprise value, based on EV/EBITDA multiples by sub-sector and on the data the user enters.

6. Privacy policy

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD), you are informed of the following:

6.1. Data controller

The controller is the entity identified in section 1 of this document, at the registered office and tax ID stated there, with contact email info@triviumcapital.es. No Data Protection Officer has been appointed, as none of the circumstances in article 37 GDPR apply.

6.2. What data is collected and why

Contact form
Data: first name and surname, email address, phone, company, type of deal and the content of the message.
Purpose: to answer your enquiry and maintain the contact arising from it.
Legal basis: your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and pre-contractual steps taken at your request (art. 6(1)(b)).
Valuation calculator
Data: company name, email address and, optionally, name and phone; together with the financial data you enter (sector, revenue, EBITDA and net financial debt) and the result obtained.
Purpose: to send you the indicative valuation in writing and, if you wish, to review it with you.
Legal basis: your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Technical logs
Data: IP address and connection data automatically logged by the hosting provider. When you submit a form, that IP address is stored alongside the rest of the submission and is retained for the same period as it.
Purpose: security, fraud prevention and operation of the service.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security of the site (art. 6(1)(f)).

No automated decisions with legal effects are taken and no profiling is carried out. The calculator's result is an informational estimate that you request voluntarily, not a decision about you.

6.2a. Evidence of consent

When you tick the acceptance box, your request is recorded together with the exact date and time and the version of this document that was published at that moment. This serves to demonstrate consent under article 5(2) GDPR and, above all, so that you can check what you accepted and when. No other tracking data is recorded.

Current version of this document: 2026-09-28

6.3. Confidentiality

The financial information you provide is treated in strict confidence and is accessible only to the partners and staff of Trivium Capital involved in your enquiry. It is not transferred, sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes, nor used to send marketing communications you have not requested.

6.4. Retention period

Data is retained for as long as the relationship lasts and, thereafter, for the period needed to address any legal liabilities that may arise. If your enquiry does not lead to a professional relationship, the data is deleted one year after the last contact. You may request earlier deletion at any time.

6.5. Recipients and processors

No data is disclosed to third parties, save where legally required. The following service providers are involved, acting as processors under article 28 GDPR:

No other providers are involved. The site loads no resources from third-party servers — including fonts, analytics, maps, video and social buttons — so your browsing is not communicated to any company other than those named above.

6.6. Your rights

You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw the consent given, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise them, simply write to info@triviumcapital.es, stating the right you wish to exercise and enclosing a copy of a document proving your identity. The request will be answered within one month at the latest.

If you consider that your rights have not been properly addressed, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) (www.aepd.es), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, Spain.

6.7. Security

The entire site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and reasonable technical and organisational measures have been adopted to prevent loss, misuse or unauthorised access to the data.

6.8. Accuracy of the data

The user warrants that the data provided is true and belongs to them. If you provide a third party's data, you must have informed them beforehand of everything set out in this policy and have their consent.

7. Cookies

This site uses no cookies. None at all. Neither first-party nor third-party, neither technical nor analytical nor advertising. Nor does it use browser local storage, device identifiers or browsing profiles.

For that reason no consent banner is shown: there is nothing to consent to. If you ever see one on this domain, it is not ours.

The only connection made when visiting the site is to the server that hosts it, which logs the IP address as part of the technical operation of the service, as set out in section 6.5. Fonts are served from this same domain, so your visit is not communicated to any external provider.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute, the parties submit to the Courts of the owner's domicile, unless consumer legislation establishes a different mandatory forum.

If any clause is declared void, the remainder shall remain valid.
